Boa Thorium Lush but melancholic modern dungeon synth release featuring a surprising wide variety of fantasy-oriented themes in 22 minutes of very pleasant music. Favorite track: Whispers on the Wings of the Bumblebee Queen.

Michael Mechanical Fantastic to have on in the background while reading, writing and working on art and other projects. Some nice epic music to be found here. Relaxing. Favorite track: Crystal Chambers and Enchanted Glades.

bmurator This is very well done Icelandic Dungeon Synth. As you read the story & listen to the music, you do feel the boy's journey. Being drawn to darkness, I cannot help wondering what this boy's journey would be like if he encountered malevolent spirits. I guess that would be the Black Metal counterpart... :) Recommended!

The story follows a young child who becomes lost in a mysterious cave system while exploring the wilderness. As he wanders deeper into the dark and twisting passages, he encounters a variety of mystical creatures who help him navigate the treacherous terrain. The child is both terrified and fascinated by the strange sights and sounds he encounters on his journey, as he struggles to find his way back to the surface.

Each chapter of the story corresponds to a different part of the child's journey, with each title from the album serving as a thematic guidepost. The first chapter, "Fauna in the Vermilion Halls", introduces the boy to the strange creatures that inhabit the caves. In "March of the Celestial Guardians", he encounters benevolent beings who help him navigate a treacherous cliff face. "Whispers on the Wings of the Bumblebee Queen" finds him lost in a maze of tunnels, aided by a mysterious guide. In "Crystal Chambers and Enchanted Glades", the boy discovers a hidden chamber filled with wondrous crystals.

As he ventures deeper into the cave system, the child begins to sense that he is being guided by mystical forces, as if the creatures and the environment itself are conspiring to help him find his way home. In "Prophets of the Obsidian Depths", he discovers a subterranean lake and encounters a group of enigmatic figures who offer him cryptic advice. In "Back Through the Portal of Dreams", the boy finally emerges from the cave system, awed by the sights and sounds of the natural world that he had taken for granted before.

Throughout the story, the boy's sense of wonder and curiosity is contrasted with the dangers and challenges he faces in the caves. His journey is one of both self-discovery and survival, as he learns to rely on his own instincts and intuition to make his way through a strange and unfamiliar world. Ultimately, the boy emerges from the cave system transformed, having gained a new appreciation for the mysteries and wonders of the natural world.

Icelandic Blackened Funeral Doom. This is extremely innovative & you are unlikely to hear anything like it anywhere else! There is a lot of experimentation going on making it is incredibly interesting listen! I love this & find it very unique! Recommended! bmurator
